Enterprise 5.5 Intuitively Addresses Agency Issues![]()
New York, June 2011... HHA eXchange, a leading name in Home Care software, recently made waves with the latest 5.5 release of its popular Enterprise platform. Version 5.5 includes many new and enhanced features that will greatly assist agencies and further streamline their workflow.
The system now addresses Overlapping Authorizations intuitively. Instead of the user manually assigning the authorization to each visit, the system scans the details and updates each one automatically - ensuring greater ease of patient configuration. Another benefit is the clear breakdown of how the authorization has been used and how many hours or shifts remain.
With the Linked and Mutual Patients functionality, users are immediately notified when those are not aligned so that prompt action can be taken. This provides greater reliability throughout the duration of care and as well during invoicing.
The Patient Financial Page (a brand new page and offered at first to a limited set of agencies) organizes relevant financial information in one location; at a glance one can see the summary of invoices, profitability, etc., per patient.
Larger organizations in particular will appreciate the enhanced security factor of the new Time Sheet feature which allows one person to determine whether a visit requires a paper time sheet and still another to approve it upon request.
The ability to generate Invoice Batches for all contracts at once instead of running each one separately is another new time-saving feature.
Updates to the system also include enhanced Electronic Billing Capabilities and some redesigned pop-up windows for improved performance, among others.

Extended Home Care and Excellent Home Care Launch with HHA eXchange![]()
January 2011... As HHA eXchange, a leading provider of innovative software solutions for the home care industry, expands nationwide, more and more agencies are discovering its unique continuum of care advantages.
Two leading New York Certified Home Health Agencies, Excellent Home Care and Extend Home Care, recently deployed HHA eXchange’s platform to manage their subcontracted caseload activity via the system’s electronic referral broadcasting, case management, compliance and billing features.
Extended Home Care specializes in home care services to patients with mental retardation and developmental disabilities (MR/DD) and their families. The revolutionary eXchange Suite will better equip them to deliver their unique level of comprehensive, patient-centered care to all patients in need.
From its early usage of the software, Excellent has benefitted substantially from a more streamlined and transparent workflow environment. According to Moses Knopfler, Accounting Executive at Excellent Home Care, "The HHA eXchange system is phenomenal. We used to manually enter entries into our accounting software after billing. It was difficult to spot mistakes and to maintain accountability since invoices from contracted vendors were not tied to specific patients in our system. We were also stuck with double-data entry when completing visits and having to then enter them into our system. This has all been remedied by HHA eXchange, and is just one example of the gains we are now enjoying."
