Humana Selects HHAeXchange as Exclusive Partner for Florida’s Statewide Medicaid Managed Care Program
Homecare management software leader HHAeXchange to provide comprehensive provider management platform to Humana and its provider network for greater workflow efficiencies.
New York – August 9, 2018 – HHAeXchange, the premiere homecare management software for payers and providers, announced today that is has partnered with Humana, one of the nation’s leading health and well-being companies. Humana has chosen HHAeXchange as its exclusive EVV platform for all Long Term Care – Personal Care Home Care services as part of Florida’s Statewide Medicaid Managed Care Program (SMMC).
HHAeXchange is among the largest providers of homecare management and EVV services, processing more than 60 million confirmed visits annually, and billing over $6.75 billion in claims on behalf of 725+ homecare agencies. HHAeXchange is a partner to several national and regional Medicaid Managed Care Plans, providing a unique Payer/Provider vertically integrated software platform for LTSS services.
The rollout of the Long Term Care program in Florida for Humana comes on the heels of HHAeXchange’s successful implementation of Pennsylvania’s Community HealthChoices Program, in which 400 LTSS providers and more than 13,000 LTSS Medicaid participants began receiving services through the three MCO’s, all of which independently evaluated and selected HHAeXchange’s platform.

As Humana’s prime network management platform, Long Term Care – Personal Care Home Care providers will use HHAeXchange to submit confirmed visits and bill directly to Humana through the free HHAeXchange Portal. In addition, Humana’s network of providers will benefit by leveraging the HHAeXchange Portal for workflow efficiencies, including:

Open Model EDI Integration with 3rd party EVV Vendors
Real-time, two-way messaging with Humana
Intelligent case broadcasting for new referrals/cases
Receive recipient demographics, authorizations, and plan of care electronically in real-time

In the coming months, Humana and HHAeXchange will offer live trainings across the State of Florida, beginning in October 2018.
