5 Benefits of Using the HHAeXchange+ Mobile App for EVV

The HHAeXchange+ mobile app empowers caregivers with the tools they need to be happier on the job and deliver better care. Here’s why homecare providers and caregivers alike are making the switch.

Fast & accurate EVV compliance

Caregivers can clock in and out in seconds on the mobile app versus several minutes on a landline. Push notifications remind caregivers before every shift starts and ends.

97% of EVV support requests relate to traditional methods — only 3% come from mobile app users.

Communication becomes a breeze

Real-time, two-way chat between your agency and caregivers means backup is always a tap away. Available in 23 languages with duty icons to aid plan of care compliance — built with inclusivity in mind.

Caregivers get control over their schedules

With 55% of homecare agencies turning down cases in 2024 due to caregiver shortages, retention is critical. HHAeXchange+ lets caregivers accept shifts, get matched to cases that fit their preferences, and view schedules on the go — without calling the office.

Your agency stays compliant

Caregivers see upcoming and overdue compliance tasks (medicals, evaluations, in-services) directly in the app. Your agency stays current with state and federal requirements automatically.

Dynamic care plan & multimedia visit notes

Caregivers can review patient-specific plans of care and log comprehensive visit notes with HIPAA-compliant photos, audio recordings, and text. Providers can verify duties were performed during each visit.

Adoption strategy

Get Your Caregivers On Board

Sometimes it’s hard to convince others to embrace new technology. Here are two proven approaches for driving adoption at your agency.

Promote the app in your office

Hang our mobile app poster in your office. It highlights the key benefits and includes a QR code so caregivers can download the app immediately.

Conduct a mobile app training session

Incentivize Caregivers to Use the Mobile App

A couple of low-lift approaches can get caregivers genuinely excited about downloading and using the app.

Host a raffle or contest

When a caregiver downloads the app, they put their name in a jar. After a couple of weeks, draw two names and give out prizes. Simple and effective.

Give verbal recognition

Recognize caregivers who consistently clock in on the app, complete compliance tasks, and use eLearning features. Share their dedication with the organization and consider a small gift card.
