Why is HHAeXchange acquiring Sandata?
This transaction best positions HHAeXchange to deliver transformative technology that accelerates the industry’s evolution and empowers stakeholders to improve health outcomes.
We are investing in and raising the bar for our customers, who deserve best-in-class solutions and a superior experience. Together with Sandata, we will be in an even stronger position to support providers and payers with their billing needs and compliance requirements and harness the power of technology to deliver on the promise of our industry.
The combined company will leverage its expanded platform by innovating with states and health plans to enable providers and health outcomes. Together with Sandata, HHAeXchange will further empower the devoted caregivers who are at the heart of our industry.
What does Sandata do?
Founded in 1978, Sandata offers data-powered homecare solutions that make it easier for providers, payers, and states to work together to increase compliance, improve efficiency, and deliver high-quality care.
How will this address the homecare sector’s broader challenges and benefit the industry?
Providers need new tools and enhancements – around scheduling, billing, payroll, and more – to be more efficient and deliver better care. Payers need better data and insight to understand member needs and how they can deliver better care.
HHAeXchange will be best positioned to address these challenges and deliver transformative technology that accelerates the industry’s evolution and empowers stakeholders to improve health outcomes.
Will I continue to use the same product(s) and services?
Absolutely. We do not anticipate any disruption to our technology or service, and customers will continue to use the same software.
Our commitment to enabling caregivers, families, providers, and payers to deliver the best care in the home remains stronger than ever.
Will there be any impact on homecare providers or members?
We anticipate that Medicaid recipients will continue to receive their services as usual with no disruption.
Likewise, we anticipate that homecare providers will continue to get paid like they do today.
Will my point-of-contact change?
We do not anticipate changes to your point-of-contact. The way you work with HHAeXchange remains the same.
How will Sandata be integrated into HHAeXchange?
Sandata will operate as a standalone business unit led by Akshay Bhandari as President, reporting to CEO Paul Joiner in the near-term. As we focus on growth, we will work on a thoughtful integration program to ensure we fully deliver on the promise of our combined business – helping more members receive high-quality care. More information will be provided going forward.
How will this transaction affect the integrations of Cashé and Generations?
This acquisition will have no impact on the ongoing integrations of Cashé and Generations, which are progressing as planned.
