New York – February 17, 2015  HHAeXchange announced a March and April 2015 tour of Missouri, led by David Cole, Director of Business Development, and Desmond Martinez, Director of Sales and Implementation. David and Desmond will be making stops in St. Louis, Kansas City, Springfield, the Ozarks, and surrounding areas to discuss the upcoming EVV (Electronic Visit Verification) mandate for home care providers and best practices for implementation and usage. The team will also be demonstrating HHAeXchange Enterprise, a leading home care agency management software solution. Because of the looming mandate, HHAeXchange is currently offering EVV services for free when purchasing HHAeXchange Enterprise to Missouri customers.

“EVV mandates are surfacing throughout the country, especially as payers and providers alike seek to ensure visit compliance among their professional care givers,” said David Cole. “Considering the successes we’ve seen in New York, the largest health care market in the US, we know we can ensure care is being provided appropriately and in a timely manner.”

David Cole is a thought leader with over 20 years of experience in the homecare industry; he was one of the original pioneers in homecare EVV. David went on to found several homecare agencies, as well as serving as administrator for Interim Healthcare in Atlanta, GA. David has also been instrumental in guiding the industry in the areas of reducing readmissions and improving patient outcomes post discharge. Desmond Martinez has over 14 years in the Healthcare/Software industry, possessing a strong background in EMR technology. Past positions include Director of Sales for an EMR software company, implementation and sales for physician and hospital-based software programs, and hospital-based sales for a pharmaceutical company.

The state of Missouri has mandated by July 1, 2015, all In-Home Service Providers and CDS (Consumer Directed Services) Vendors must have an EVV solution in place, heightening visit compliance and confirming reimbursement for services.
