HHAeXchange & MetroPlus Health Partnership

MetroHealth Plus is partnering with HHAeXchange to roll out an Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) solution for providers delivering managed care options and community services to people living in New York.

Starting October 1, 2026, all providers in the MetroPlus Health network will be required to submit EVV data through HHAeXchange.

Through the HHAeXchange platform, providers will be able to receive patient placements, manage authorizations, and confirm visits with MetroHealth Plus.

HHAeXchange also offers a robust agency management solution that can help streamline and automate time-consuming agency functions, including:

  • Patient/member placement
  • Scheduling
  • EVV compliance
  • Billing and payment

Important Dates

  • August 31, 2026: Complete your provider enrollment and onboarding steps below (note: only for providers who do NOT yet have access to HHAeXchange)
  • October 1, 2026: MetroPlus Health EVV go-live

Getting Started with Your Provider Portal

If you’re already an HHAeXchange Provider Portal user, feel free to skip this section.

Please register for portal access by August 31, 2026.

Portal vs. 3rd Party EVV Vendor

You have two options when it comes to your EVV vendor:

Option 1: Use the HHAeXchange EVV Portal at no cost.

Option 2: Continue using an existing EVV vendor that integrates with HHAeXchange to transmit visit data.

NOTE!

If your current EVV vendor does not integrate with HHAeXchange, you will need to either:

  1. Use the HHAeXchange EVV Portal or
  2. Switch to a vendor that meets the integration requirements.
