HHAeXchange’s first Pennsylvania Customer Summit was a great chance to showcase new solutions, share the company’s focus for the year ahead, and discuss plans for continuous improvement. More importantly, it was a place for learning—about our software, partners’ innovations, and insights from payers and other providers.
HHAeXchange is committed to the customers we serve. We want to be more than just a software provider; we aim to be a helpful partner, putting the needs of providers and their clients first. This summit helped us learn from each other and get closer to this goal. Below, we’ve highlighted some key moments from the event.
Kicking off the day, the HHAeXchange Leadership Team got straight to the heart of what’s new and exciting at our company and within the industry. It was a lineup packed with our leadership team’s insights and updates.
– Paul Joiner, CEO: Joiner set the stage by sharing the latest changes at HHAeXchange, and in the PA homecare market. He discussed the HHAeXchange mission, vision and how the company’s continued growth puts us in a position to better serve our customers. He also addressed the importance of recognizing the vital role caregivers play in this industry.
– Tim Brewer, CTO: Following Joiner, Brewer dove into HHAeXchange’s “whole product” mindset. He emphasized our commitment to comprehensive product planning, ensuring transparency, mindful action, and unwavering support for our clients. He also shared more about our product plan for the near future.
– Chelsea Smith, Senior Director of Product Management, Revenue Cycle: Smith delivered an insightful presentation on what revenue cycle management really means, and what the future of revenue cycle management will look like for homecare providers (supporting reimbursement diversity and complexity at scale).
– Tammy Prause, VP of Technical Customer Care: Prause spoke about new customer support initiatives and the steps being taken to develop a high-performing team that best aligns with customer needs.
The Innovation Center was a hub of learning, featuring 1:1 demonstrations on our User Interface, caregiver mobile app upgrades, the new HHAeXchange Knowledge Base, and more. It was fertile ground for feedback, allowing us to share our latest projects and better understand what our customers value most. Additionally, the center hosted 16 partner booths, facilitating valuable connections, and learning opportunities about how homecare technology can advance business.
Fostering open dialogue between payers and providers is a key part of HHAeXchange’s role in streamlining homecare operations. The summit held an enlightening panel discussion featuring Pennsylvania payer executives where they dove into the importance of EVV compliance, advanced data, and the future of value-based care.
We were honored to have three HHAeXchange partners present on crucial homecare topics:
Tom Stapf, Director of Client Success at HHAeXchange, and Catharine Weaber, VP of Development and Strategy at Honor Health Network, explored strategies for how homecare providers can prepare for the January 2025 85% EVV compliance requirement. We want to make sure that PA providers have all the tools they need to be successful in the face of regulatory updates.
Thank you to everyone who participated and made this summit a success. We look forward to continuing our journey together, shaping the future of homecare in Pennsylvania and elsewhere.
